It looks as though there is some gathering going on. (I'm a beginner sewer) Do you pin first? Does it matter if you sew the pillow case to top or bottom of lace? I actually made them a little loos...Good question. I actually made them a little loose and the fabric did give a bit. They were fine. Very comfortable for about a year of wear.
