When I started this whole paper doll idea, the twins were two...just barely two and Norah was a little cherubic one year old. I laminated the dolls so that they could play with them without eating/ripping appendages off, etc.
But, their attention spans were lacking (what was I expecting??) so I put everything away and just thought I'd wait 'til the dolls were a bit more age appropriate. And the day came! It finally came. We all played together for over an hour. I have to admit, it was pretty satisfying watching their little imaginations take flight and listening to them play with and like something I created.
Even Grandma got in on the action. I can now honestly say that these dolls are appropriate for children ages 3 - 93. That wouldn't be a stretch, right? :)
Priceless. And beautiful. Good work and give them all a love for me, ages 3 - 93 :)

ReplyDeleteAbsolutly not a stretch, 3 to 93 sounds about right to me too :) How wonderful it must have been for them to play with their mom and grandma.
